Lifestyle changes of exercise & diet should be tried first

“People at risk of heart disease and strokes should address lifestyle factors such as exercise and diet before resorting to medication therapy”.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guideline recommends that people at high risk of cardio-vascular disease should engage in activity weekly of

  • At least 150 minutes moderate intensity aerobic exercise
  • Or 75 minutes of vigorous intensity aerobic exercise
  • Or a mix of moderate and vigorous aerobic activity.

A constant source of support and encouragement

"

Having suffered with chronic back pain for several years, following major spinal surgery, I am quite convinced that my present mobility is due entirely to the efforts of Gillian Huckett. She has been a constant source of support and encouragement, and given excellant advice on how to maintain my present level of fitness.
