Natalie Howe MCSP HCPC

Natalie graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2002 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Soon after qualifying, she realised her clinical enthusiasm and potential whilst working within the specialised field of paediatrics and neurology, and has since worked within numerous locations throughout Hertfordshire, gaining valuable experience in all inpatient, outpatient and community based departments within the NHS, and more recently within the private sector.

Natalie now specialises in treating all paediatric conditions including neurological deficits (birth related and acquired), musculo-skeletal abnormalities, learning disabilities, neuromusculal conditions and chronic pain. She also treats all adult neurological conditions including stroke patients, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injuries and the elderly. Another area of her clinical expertise is within the field of adolescent health and chronic fatigue syndrome. Natalie uses a holistic approach to treatments and interventions, considering both the physical and psychological presentations.

Natalie has completed numerous post-graduate training courses including the basic Bobath Course, Splinting in Neurology, Hydrotherapy for Neurology and is near completion of a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP) and a current member of the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Gill's approach is to think about the individual behind the pain, and so she treats that person. She's an outstanding practitioner, who inspires trust and confidence.

I'm delighted to give a testimonial for Gill Huckett's Hatfield physiotherapy practice, Physio 23. I've been seeing Gill for several years now. I was referred to her, following an episode of bad back pain. After a careful and thorough initial assessment, and physio treatment, Gill also showed me some daily Pilates exercises to do at home, backed up with written instructions – with easy-to-follow pictures! Regular treatments and the exercises helped me to recover well. As my back problem is chronic, I currently see her for maintenance treatments and these have proved to be invaluable.
