Hand & Wrist Injury Treatment

Physio23 prefers to try ‘a hands-on approach’ before possible surgical intervention.

Common hand conditions treated include:

  • Arthritic joint pain

  • Wrist / Colles fracture

  • Finger and thumb sprains, dislocations, fractures/breaks

  • Post-operative Dupuytren’s release

  • De Quervains Syndrome

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, or post-operative release

  • Tendon and nerve injuries

Treatment methods may involve:

  • Joint mobilisations

  • Stretches

  • Exercises

  • Heat therapy

  • Wound care

  • Scar management

It is not unusual for the need to assess, examine and treat the upper limb to assist with the recovery of hand and wrist injuries.

We prefer to try ‘a hands-on approach’ before possible surgical intervention!

“Very well organised, efficient and professional practice!”
